Yes we are missionaries

this is my wife's village and we've felt called to be here and share the love that we have received with others around us.

Some people like my wife's family have done fairly well for themselves and not so many fall into what I would label as poverty. Yet we've seen many needs and feel like we have been gifted from God in order to help meet some of these needs

Next year will be when we start working here on a greater capacity, we will be working under a Christian volunteer organization. The past year I've been teaching English full time in order to support ourselves, while others back in Australia have helped support the work that we're doing. I had a friend from Australia bring a school team out to run an English camp for three local schools in the district. It was so much fun. We've found so much enjoyment in those type of things that next year, we will take a step of faith to rely on God more and I only be doing a bit of part-time paid work
