This is my first ever Rainmeter upload! Someday, when I'm all grown up, this might become a full Rainmeter suite. Who knows?

Enjoy! ;)

Oh, I'm sorry about that. You have to go into the clock config's code and adjust the X= setting. Just add a few dozen pixels to the setting.

ok... after on hour of frustration i closed rainmeter and started it up again. now it works lol. saving the variables file and refreshing the skins isn't enough. you need to restart rainmeter to change the font

First of all congrats...
this clock, like the rest of your suite is amazing :D

I have a little question: is there a way to switch between AM/PM to 24 hours time?
Also, what should I do to create an italian localization? You know, day of the week, month and so on. I'm really new to rainmeter so I still need to learn a lot.

Cheers! :)

You downloaded the font- did you install it into your Fonts folder? Go check right now and make sure it's in there. It might be under a slightly different name. You should be able to find it in your word processor if it's installed correctly. ;)

If it's already in your Folder, then check the name that it's listed by. Go into the .ini file for the clock and check to see if the name of the font there matches the name that your computer has the font listed under.

If it's certainly installed, and you can use it in your word processor, and it's also certainly listed by name in the .ini file, then I have no idea what the problem is, and you might want to go onto the rainmeter forums and ask some smarter people for help... ;)

You can take a screen shot by setting up everything on your screen like you want it, and then pushing the "prt sc" button, or "print screen". Depending on your computer, you might have to push it and another button at the same time, like "ctrl" or "fn" (I have an HP and I have to use the fn=prt sc combo). Then it's copied to your clipboard, and you have to open up paint or PS or something and paste it there, save it as whatever you like, and then you can email it to me. My email is on my profile. ;)

Try to show your fonts folder with the Times New Yorker font highlighted, and I'll see if I can figure anything out. I already know what's in the .ini, so you don't have to open that... ;)

You can change the color by editing the variable in the .ini file. There are three color variables in the new version of the clock. Rainmeter uses a Red-Green-Blue-Transparency format, so each color is coded by a set of four numbers, each corresponding to the RGB+T on a scale of 0-255. 0 is darkest, or totally transparent, and 255 is lightest, or totally opaque.

So, to lighten the colors to stand out more, you can change them to a higher number. If the first three (RGB) numbers are the same, you'll maintain a gray-to-white color, but if they aren't the same, you'll create something more colorful.

Also try editing the transparency to help it blend in a little, if you like.

This is seriously cool. However, I'm having an issue. When I try the rainmeter skin, I get a message saying "Section [Metadata] is not a meter or a measure!" Any way of solving this? Thanks :)

It sounds like you're using an older version of Rainmeter. I'd go to the website and download the newest build.

[Metadata] is a new feature that lets you add info into the skin's code, much like some .mp3 files contain the artist, album, etc.

The only other option would be to go into the .ini file and delete the [Metadata] section altogether- it should be up near the top- but don't delete any variables or anything else!

hey hey! your second suggestion worked, deleting the metadata section.

you are fabulous! thank you!

no prob. ;)

I do recommend updating to the latest build, though, if you haven't. Most of the new skins from here on out will be structured for the new build's features, which are much more convenient and efficient.

When I use it, it just shows in the normal font, not the times new yorker. Any ideas?

You have to install the Times New Yorker onto your computer. If you've already done that, then there's two possibilities- your computer might have installed it with a name different somehow from what's in the .ini code, so go into your fonts folder and see what the name is, spaces and all. The other option is to use the new release of Rainmeter (I hope you've got the latest update!) and the new local font feature. I'm not sure how to code it- I'm pretty new at this. You can probably find the code you need at rainmeter.net, maybe in the forum somewhere? I'll check on it too...

Thanks for the head's up!

Anyway, I really think you should continue on with this set. I for one, am a fan of it.

Well, I'd love to see a weather skin. Maybe a system monitor with things like RAM usage, HDD space remaining, CPU usage, battery remaining, etc...Just a few ideas.

Man, I'm NOWHERE good enough to code a weather skin. Every time I open one and look at the code, I'm totally stumped.

But I'll try to figure out something unique for the system monitors... ;)

Alright. It's ok that you can't do a weather one. I wouldn't be able to even do a clock haha. Good luck with the system monitors. I'm sure it'll look great.
